The annual Rock For Ronnie concert has once again proven to be a major success for a worthy cause. Headlined by Lita Ford this year, the event was held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park. It raised over $125,000 for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund.
The Dio Cancer Fund took to social media to express their gratitude and share the milestone achievement with supporters.
“The Rock For Ronnie brings in over $125,000 for the Dio Cancer Fund,” the organization announced. “A big Thank You to everyone who came down and made this year’s Rock For Ronnie at The Autry such a big success! It was an amazing day filled with live music and auctions to raise funds for Dio Cancer Fund! All in honor of Ronnie James Dio!”
The event featured live music performances and auctions, all organized in memory of the legendary rock vocalist Ronnie James Dio. The funds raised will go toward the cancer research and awareness efforts carried out by the Dio Cancer Fund.
The 2026 concert ran from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and was hosted by Eddie Trunk. Alongside headliner Lita Ford, the lineup included Dio Disciples, Led Zepagain, an All Star Band, and Jason Charles Miller. The packed program delivered a full day of performances for attendees.
The event also featured food trucks, beer and wine, and both live and silent auctions, with rare music memorabilia among the items up for bid. All net proceeds from the day went directly to the fund’s cancer prevention, education, and research initiatives. Organizers confirmed that 100% of net proceeds support the charity’s mission.
The 2026 Rock For Ronnie marked the fund’s 16th year of hosting the annual concert. It stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Ronnie James Dio and the dedication of the rock community to keeping his memory alive through meaningful action. The event has grown steadily into one of rock music’s most recognized charity fundraisers.
The next Rock For Ronnie is already scheduled for May 23, 2027, giving fans and supporters another date to mark on their calendars as the tradition continues to build momentum.
