Richie Sambora is releasing a new song, but it seems like the cover art has a hidden message on it.
A few days ago, the former Bon Jovi rocker revealed on his social media platforms that he would be releasing new music. Later, he revealed the release date and the cover art for the song. Since then, fans have been curious about what the cover art meant.
On the cover, we see a Snellen chart with the letters I, RS, and BON on the top three lines, and with the title on the next two lines.
Music journalist Mitch Lafon shared the cover art and expressed his curiosity in a new X post. He also came up with a theory:
“Here’s the cover for Richie Sambora’s upcoming new single, ‘Livin’ Alone.’ Does the RS Bon mean that Richie Sambora is half of Bon Jovi? I’m curious.”
Sambora did not say anything in particular, but he responded by retweeting the post.
Other Theories
Sambora released his new track ‘I Pray,’ and later announced another new single with an identical cover art. Many fans and followers responded to Lafon’s theory with lots of other theories. One user said that it could be about progression and priority:
“Hear me out. Could it be about wisdom, perspective, progression, and priority? ‘I’ on top is Richie the man he’s become over ‘RS’ -Richie Sambora, the rock star he is seen as over ‘BON’ – Bon Jovi, the foundation and formation of who he is today.
Another user wrote:
“Yes & since the RS is above the bon, in my opinion it means Richie is BETTER.”
For now, it seems like Sambora will stay silent about it until he is personally asked about it during an interview.
