Richie Sambora Fans Worldwide reported that the former Bon Jovi guitarist is dealing with a serious hand injury.

“Richie has 2 fractures in the left hand,” the update stated. “He’s getting it sorted next week, is in a lot of pain, but still being the pro he is!”

Fans first noticed swelling in his hand during a recent live performance. Medical evaluation later confirmed the extent of the damage.

Sambora had maintained an active presence in the music scene before this setback.

Reports from Blabbermouth highlighted his recent appearance at the ‘Rock For Responders’ benefit concert. The guitarist shared the stage with Phil X to perform Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ On A Prayer.’

The veteran musician also delivered a memorable performance at The Galt House Hotel in Louisville before the injury occurred.

Medical records show no previous hand injuries that affected his guitar playing. This current setback presents a new challenge for the accomplished musician.

Data from Songkick shows no scheduled concert dates for Sambora in 2025. This gap in scheduling may provide sufficient time for his recovery without affecting any immediate touring plans.
