One of the more recent praises for Taylor Swift came from Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks. In May 2023, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, she thanked Taylor Swift for writing the song ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid’ because it’s how she feels after losing Christine McVie. She said:
“That is the sadness of how I feel. When it was the two of us, the two of us were on our own, kids. We always were, and now, I’m having to learn to be on my own, kid, by myself. So, you help me to do that. Thank you.”
