Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea Shows Interest In Buying Stakes In Los Angeles Lakers

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea has recently tweeted a reply to a piece of news concerning billionaire Philip Anschutz’s decision to sell his stake in the LA Lakers and implied that he is interested in buying some for himself.

As it is well-known, Flea is a huge fan of the Los Angeles Lakers to the extent of having a tattoo on his arm saying ‘Go Lakers!’ He talks about his admiration of the team every time possible and follows every step that the Lakers take. Flea can be considered synonymous with LA Lakers.

According to recent news, billionaire and the founder of AEG, Philip Anschutz has come to an agreement to sell his stake in the LA Lakers. The Lakers’ worth is considered near $5.14 billion, placing them at third place in the highest total in the NBA.

Seeing that news on Twitter, Flea has posted a reply to ask how much the stake is. Fans got excited over seeing this and supported him to buy a stake as they thought he was the most suitable person to own stakes in Lakers. Flea then replied to these supportive tweets, one of them being posted by the musician Finneas, saying he could buy it if Finneas could spare him a couple of billions.

Flea asked in his tweet:

“How much?”

Then Finneas replied to this by saying:

“I am rooting for you.”

Flea then responded:

If you could just spare me a couple of billion?
