Red Hot Chili Peppers Celebrate Chad Smith’s Birthday But Fans Realize Something’s Wrong

Red Hot Chili Peppers recently celebrated the birthday of their drummer Chad Smith on their Instagram page. However, fans immediately noticed something was wrong upon seeing the post.

Chad Smith has been drumming for Red Hot Chili Peppers since 1988. Apart from the iconic rock band, he also worked with many artists and contributed to their works. As of today, Smith has a considerable reputation and is named as one of the greatest drummers of all time.

Despite working with him for so long, it seems RHCP confused Chad Smith’s date of birth. Although Smith was born on October 25, 1961, the band posted a birthday celebration for their drummer on their Instagram page on October 24. In the post, they also included a video of Smith drumming and singing Judas Priest’s ‘Breaking The Law.’

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Instagram post read:

“Happy Birthday Chad.”

Upon seeing the post, fans realized that there was something wrong with that since it wasn’t Smith’s birthday yet. Following that, they left comments below the post to remind the band that the drummer’s birthday is actually on October 25. A Portuguese fan questioned whether Smith’s birthday was October 25, while others stated it was actually on Monday.

One of RHCP’s followers stated that:

“25/10?”

Another one commented:

“October 25!”

A fan also added:

“Monday!”

Although it remains unknown whether the band really confused Chad Smith’s birthday or the post was an early celebration, it certainly confused most fans since they were expecting one on October 25.
