The announcement has generated excitement among fans. Supporters expressed enthusiasm about the tour’s return.

“Ooh! We’re so back!!! The Catacombs Tour is on another level,” one Queens of the Stone Age fan commented on the announcement.

Another fan emphasized the quality of the live experience, stating: “If you are thinking about going… Stop wasting time and get tickets. This was single-handedly the best show I’ve ever seen and not what I expected at all.”

The upcoming tour represents a continuation of the band’s acclaimed Catacombs concept. Both fans and critics have given this concept significant attention.

Vice reported that artist presale for the Catacombs Tour 2026 begins today, Wednesday, February 25 at 10AM PST. This gives dedicated fans early access to tickets before the general public sale on Friday.

The Catacombs Tour concept draws its inspiration from the band’s unique Alive in the Catacombs concert film. This film was recorded in the historic Paris Catacombs. Ultimate Classic Rock noted that this tour revives special song arrangements from their 2025 run. These arrangements feature lush strings and ensembles that create an intimate and atmospheric concert experience.

The five West Coast dates will kick off on April 24 at Joshua Tree Retreat Center in Joshua Tree, California. This marks a homecoming for the desert rock pioneers. Rock 101 confirmed that the tour will make stops in Rancho Mirage, California on April 25, Portland, Oregon on April 27, Seattle on April 29. The tour will conclude on May 1 at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California.

This limited run of intimate shows offers fans a rare opportunity to experience Queens of the Stone Age’s music in a more personal setting. The shows will feature the enhanced orchestral arrangements that have become synonymous with the Catacombs Tour experience. Tickets for the limited U.S. dates will be available starting this Friday through Ticketmaster.
