Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin is in trouble with the law yet again. The band’s vocalist was recently arrested for trespassing on the house he used to own, according to a TikTok video posted.
Scantlin, who got himself in trouble with the law several times before, got hauled by LAPD following a Tik Tok video showing him at the garage of his old Hollywood house. The vocalist bought the house in 2005 and lost it to foreclosure ten years later. According to a woman who claims to be the current owner of the house on TikTok, Scantlin was arrested for trespassing after camping outside the property and allegedly threatening her maid, prompting her to contact the police.
The caption of the video telling the story read:
“When you walk down your driveway to catch an Uber and find a stranger camped outside and then realize it’s a famous rock singer who had his house foreclosed on (and has been arrested several times before) and was coming back to claim the house so you have to call the police because he begins to threaten the maid you hired and then he gets arrested because turns out he has an active order against him.”
Scantlin was previously arrested for a similar incident in 2016. He had returned to the property a year after losing it and was accused of vandalizing the new owner’s home by breaking windows and allegedly damaging some electronics. He was charged with vandalism and released on bail. However, this time he was released on his own recognizance a few hours later instead of bail.
