Kiss rocker Paul Stanley revealed whether or not his and Gene Simmons’ kids are interested in taking over Kiss. In a new interview with Real Radio Monsters, the musician was questioned about whether the subject had ever crossed his mind. He revealed:
“That’s nothing they’re interested in. Eventually, they both found their niches, and between Sophie [Simmons], Nick [Simmons], and Evan, they consider themselves brothers, sisters, and family. Look, Shannon, to me, is like my sister-in-law. Jean, and I have been together since we lived at home. So, to create this life that we’ve created for ourselves and for each other is an incredible bond.”
He continued by mentioning the kids’ being supporters of each other, except for one thing:
“To know Nick and Sophie from the time they were babies and vice versa with Jean and Evan and my other children, it’s unlike a lot of other situations. Nick and Evan are big supporters of each other, but neither one of them is ever gonna find themselves on a stage with a Kiss sign.”
The Children’s Interest In Music

Though a Kiss takeover doesn’t seem likely, the rockers’ children are interested in producing music. Evan Stanley, who is now 30, have been making music for a few years both solo and with his band, The Dives. Evan, both solo and with The Dives, released his last solo singles in 2021.
Similarly, Sophie Simmons too has been sharing her own music on streaming platforms. The singer released a new EP in 2023.
So, though their main interest is not Kiss, it’s inevitable to mention that they both got their fathers’ interest in music.
