On the last day of 2023, many rock stars took to social media to share their wishes for the new year. Contrary to the trend, Paul Stanley diverged with a different approach for his closing statement. The KISS singer shared a post on his Twitter account to remind his fans of an important rule to remember before posting on social media platforms. He stated:

“Before you post or respond to any posts in the coming year, try to remember…”

Stanley accompanied his message with a quotation centered on the concept of ‘stupidity.’ The singer added a statement previously shared by the comedian Ricky Gervais. Gervais stated, as shared by Stanley:

“When you’re dead, you don’t know you’re dead. The pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you’re stupid.”

Paul Stanley Doesn’t Tolerate Rudeness On Social Media

This time last year, Stanley shared another post on Twitter to explain his zero-tolerance attitude toward people who insult him using social media platforms. Although he mentioned he personally reads his fans’ comments on his life and career, Paul revealed he also had assistants helping him remove any disrespectful comments. The singer explained:

“For everyone who asks. Yes! Twice a week or more, I read all your comments. I do have a few people who go through them all before to save me from having to delete and block the idiots who waste time with stupidity or rudeness. You are awesome, and I love hearing from you. Happy holidays!”

In today’s world, social media has unfortunately turned into a platform for criticizing and demeaning others. Stanley highlights the need to be careful about how we use these platforms. He continues to encourage people to think twice before posting something that might hurt or disrespect others.
