A new cover of Black Sabbath’s ‘War Pigs’ has surfaced, and Ozzy Osbourne loves it.
The ‘Prince Of Darkness’ took to X to share the recent cover of the hit song. The cover, sung by T-Pain, got 16 million views on X. The rocker, stressing that no one let him know about it, commented on the snippet of T-Pain’s version:
“This is the best cover of ‘War Pigs’ ever. Why didn’t you guys call me?”
T-Pain’s Reaction To Osbourne’s Comment
T-Pain initially performed a cover of ‘War Pigs’ on his covers album titled ‘On Top of the Covers,’ which he launched in March 2023. In the recently surfaced live performance, the rapper received a great amount of positive feedback for his cover, and some even proposed the two had collaborated. After receiving the Black Sabbath rocker’s comment, he replied with the following:
“You’re always invited. Top of the list, every time!! Thank you so much. Means a lot coming from the greatness himself.”
The next day, T-Pain commented once again about the reaction he got from the singer:
“First thing I said was ‘wow.’ This is an honor and the greatest form of validation. Thank you brother.”
