It’s not unusual to see rockers hating Christmas music, but Ozzy Osbourne hates the holiday. However, he has a valid reason for it.

“I f*cking hate Christmas. It gets right up my arsehole,” Osbourne told The Sun. “When I used to do booze and get f*cked up, I bought a barrel with 28 gallons of booze for me. I drunk it before it was Christmas f*cking Eve.”

Osbourne’s past with drugs and alcohol has been complicated. Although he has maintained sobriety for over a decade, the rocker admitted in The Osbournes Podcast that he wasn’t ‘completely sober,’ but said he avoids microdosing anything else.

“I use a bit of marijuana from time to time,” Ozzy said, adding that Sharon makes sure he doesn’t use anything stronger. “My wife kicks my butt all the time,” he added. “She would f*cking make my life so difficult.”

“The message is, if you are out there and you are using dope and you want to get off, there is plenty of help.” He mentioned that Alcoholics Anonymous helped him “sorted out to a certain degree.”

In 2018, Ozzy Osbourne spoke to the Orange County Register about his sobriety journey. “I don’t drink alcohol anymore…I don’t smoke tobacco. I don’t use drugs… I’m doing good right now. I now think, ‘How did I think going into a bar and getting smashed and doing all that cocaine was fun?'”

Ozzy also mentioned that he hopes God keeps him alive.
