Noel Gallagher Shares The Price He’d Ask For Oasis Reunion

Former Oasis lead guitarist Noel Gallagher opened up about the possibility of a reunion of the band during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, and apparently, the right price for him to get back with his brother, lead singer Liam Gallagher with whom Noel doesn’t speak to since the band’s break-up, is £100 million.

As many of you know, Oasis was formed in 1991, and during their active years which lasted until 2009, the band has sold over 75 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time as well as being one of the most successful acts on the UK Singles Chart and Albums Chart, achieving three platinum albums in the US as well.

Thanks to being one of the most successful bands in the world, Oasis has won countless awards and nominations throughout its career that spanned over nearly two decades including 17 NME Awards, nine Q Awards, four MTV Europe Music Awards, and six Brit Awards in addition to being nominated for two Grammy Awards.

During the course of their existence, the band had various line-up changes, however, the Gallagher brothers remained as the staple members until Oasis’ disbandment after Noel Gallagher revealed a statement in the band’s website in which he revealed his departure from the band because of his brother and that was the ending of Oasis as well.

Here is what Noel Gallagher said:

“It is with some sadness and great relief…I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.

During a recent interview, Noel Gallagher was asked about his brother Liam’s statements after he claimed last year that Oasis had been offered a huge amount of money to get back together, but said it was still not enough for Noel. Apparently, it was as Noel himself revealed he would be reunited with other bandmates including his brother for £100 million.

Here is what former Oasis lead guitarist said:

“There isn’t £100million in the music business between all of us… if anybody wants to offer me £100 million now, I’ll say it now, I’ll do it. I’ll do it for £100 million. Ludicrous. What is funny though is that I think Liam actually believes it.”
