New York State Park Police shared a post on their Facebook page regarding the incident, stating it is currently under investigation:

“Out of an abundance of caution, the concert at Saratoga Performing Arts Center was suspended ‪at 9:40 pm and concert attendees were evacuated without incident. K9s completed a sweep of the venue after the crowd exited, with negative results. This incident is under investigation.‬ This case will be investigated as, Making a Terroristic Threat, a Class D Felony.”

Later, Gallagher announced what happened and told his fans that their tour would resume:

“Unfortunately, on the advice of local authorities, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds performance at Saratoga Performing Arts Centre did not go ahead on Saturday evening. The decision was taken out of an abundance of caution to prioritise the safety of fans and staff. The tour continues tonight at New York City’s Summer Stage in Central Park and we look forward to seeing fans there.”
