Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss has shared her first message after returning to the band, according to a post on Instagram. Strauss had stepped away from the band while pregnant with her first child and was temporarily replaced by Anna Cara.
The statement addresses her excitement about rejoining Cooper’s lineup for a run of shows closing out the year. It also includes details on ticket availability for fans hoping to attend.
“We are so back baby!!! Incredibly excited to link back up with Alice Cooper, Criss Angel, and the incredible band and cast for one more round of Welcome to Our Nightmare to close out the year!” Strauss said.
“See you in Vegas November 27-28 and December 4-5!” she continued. “These shows sold out fast last time so grab tickets while they’re available – trust me you do NOT want to miss these shows!”
Fans looking to catch the shows are encouraged to secure tickets soon, as the previous run sold out quickly.
Strauss revealed in January that she and her husband, Josh Villalta, were expecting their first child. The Welcome to Our Nightmare residency, which pairs Cooper with illusionist Criss Angel, opened at the Criss Angel Theater inside Planet Hollywood in March and later added spring dates.
Strauss stepped back from touring to focus on her pregnancy, with Anna Cara filling her role on stage. She and Villalta welcomed their son, Maxwell James, in June. Strauss now returns to the Alice Cooper band for the Vegas shows in November and December.
