Nikki Sixx Thrills Mötley Crüe Fans As He Heralds Multiple New Projects
Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Twitter page stating that he liked being in lockdown due to the coronavirus when it first started, however, revealed that he’s working on numerous new projects to come since the leisure time he has triggered him.
As many of you know, Nikki Sixx has quite a busy schedule with his brand new music project with his side band Sixx: A.M and his bandmate James Michael. Apparently, the two have been working on a soundtrack for a movie Sixx made himself a few months ago.
In addition to a new track, Mötley Crüe bassist has been working on a brand new book since 2020 which is going to be rather different than previous books of Nikki Sixx and unrelated to his career with the band. While he’s focused on finishing his book, Sixx also has been physically preparing himself for Mötley Crüe’s postponed tour.
It’s not surprising that legendary bassist has a lot on his plate already, however, he revealed that he’s also working on other new projects already in his latest post on his official Twitter page. Sixx also stated that when the coronavirus outbreak first started, he saw it as an opportunity to relax, however, his urge to create and work on something new grew bigger over time and that’s why he’s working on multiple projects at the same time.
Here is what Sixx said:
“At first being in lockdown was a much-needed break for this 24-7 workaholic but as time went by the itch got worse and worse. Now I’m knee-deep in multiple new projects cause I guess I just can’t stop.”
