Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has hinted that Europe could be the band’s next touring destination after their Las Vegas residency. Sixx made the comment on X in response to a fan question about a potential Canadian show in Alberta.
A fan had asked whether Mötley Crüe would perform in Alberta. Sixx explained that while the band cannot tour every location, Europe stands out as their most likely next stop if they decide to tour again.
“Sadly we can’t be in all places at the same time,” Sixx said. “We just did 3 shows in Canada. Love Canada. If we go anywhere we might to Europe. It’s been quite a few years.”
The comments came as Mötley Crüe continues its Las Vegas residency. The band has not visited Europe for several years, according to Sixx.
Sixx’s remarks reflect the band’s touring patterns over the past several years. Mötley Crüe last toured Europe in 2023 as part of a co-headlining World Tour with Def Leppard that ran from February through November across Latin America, Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. Before that, the band had staged a major North American tour called “The Return of the Carnival of Sins,” which celebrated the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking 2005-2006 Carnival of Sins tour and the band’s 45th anniversary.
The Las Vegas residency that Sixx referenced is set to run from March 19 through April 3, 2027, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. This will mark the band’s fourth residency in Las Vegas, following earlier runs in 2012, 2013 and 2025.
As for touring commitments beyond the residency, Sixx’s comments suggest that a European tour remains possible but not confirmed. The bassist indicated that while Mötley Crüe cannot play everywhere fans want them to perform, Europe is the region most likely to see them return if the band decides to tour again after their Las Vegas shows conclude.
