Nikki Sixx Targets New Generation Rock Bands By Saying ‘It’s Not Easy’ To Find A Favorite Artist These Days

Mötley Crüe bass guitarist and co-founder Nikki Sixx made another question & answer session on Twitter and revealed if he has a favorite artist or not.

In the session, one of the fans wondered about the favorite artist of Nikki, and asked this question by using the ‘Ask Nikki’ hashtag. After a short period, Nikki revealed his answer.

While Nikki was saying that majority of the music in all categories sounding the same, he also said that it is really hard to pick one artist as his favorite. Although he is thinking really deeply to pick one, Nikki couldn’t find any.

Even though Nikki couldn’t be able to find his favorite artist, he talked about the time when he was raised and mentioned that the ’70s was the best songwriting era of the music industry.

One of the fans of Nikki asked:

“Nikki, do you have a favorite artist right now? If so please recommend them to me! I’m always looking for new music . Thank you for saving my life. So grateful for you. Much love.”

Nikki Sixx replied:

“To be honest a majority of music in all categories is sounding pretty much the same. Hard to tell one artists from the next. I’m digging deep but it’s not easy.

I feel I was raised in the best songwriting era which was the 1970’s and still some of my biggest musical influence…”
