Nikki Sixx Says ‘We Were Young And Poor’ As He Recalls The Tough Situations In Early Years Of Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe bass guitarist and co-founder, Nikki Sixx, uploaded a new picture of himself on his official Instagram account and talked about the early days of the band.

As you can see in the picture, Nikki was inside the studio for the photoshoot session and posing for the camera. He was wearing a leather outfit that made him look badass and he was posing in front of the Risson Amplifiers.

In the caption of the post, Nikki explained why he wasn’t using the amplifications such as Marshall, Fender, Blackstar, and more, instead of Risson and his answer was reasonable.

Nikki stated that they were too young back in those days and couldn’t afford the better amplifiers. Because of that, he chooses to play with Risson Amplifiers and said that it rescued bunch of his gear.

Here is what Nikki Sixx wrote:

We were young and poor. Risson amps came to my rescue with a bunch of gear…”
