Nikki Sixx Says Mick Mars’ Loud Guitar Sound Drowns All The Other Bands

Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx recently announced that the band began rehearsing for their long-awaited Stadium Tour in a Twitter post. Moreover, the bassists stated that Mick Mars‘ guitar was so loud that he drowned all the other bands.

In 2015, Mötley Crüe had signed a no-touring agreement, but things changed when their biopic ‘The Dirt’ hit Netflix. Both old and new fans of the band got hyped for Mötley Crüe and demanded tours, concerts, or performances even though they had signed an agreement. The band couldn’t resist the temptation and found a loophole in their contract. Eventually, they announced that they would begin touring.

Their Stadium Tour, accompanied by Poison, Def Leppard, and Joan Jett, will begin in June, after a few postponements due to the pandemic. Currently, the band is rehearsing after five years of not playing together. The members have stated their excitement over time, and Nikki Sixx is updating fans about how the rehearsals are going.

Since it was Mick Mars’ birthday on May 4, Nikki Sixx tweeted a happy birthday message to his favorite guitarist and stated that his guitar suppresses every other band during the rehearsals. The 71-year-old guitarist seems to be in shape for the tour and is ready to blow the stage with his riffs and solos.

Here is what Sixx said about Mars:

“Now that was a killer band rehearsal Mötley Crüe.”

He then tweeted:

“Birthday boy Mick Mars’ guitar sound is so loud at rehearsal that it drowns out all the other bands. As it should be.”
