Nikki Sixx Says His New Book Is 95% Done And Shares His Next Move

Mötley Crüe‘s co-founder and bassist, Nikki Sixx shared a post on his Twitter account and announced that his new book is almost done. He also added that he wanted to keep the fans and followers updated as the developments progressed.

As many of you may know that the bassist Nikki Sixx also has an authoring side in addition to his successful musical career. In 2001, he released the first book ‘The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band’ that he wrote with his band members. In the much-anticipated book, Mötley Crüe icons wrote about the best and the worst times of the band and the formation of the band.

In 2007, Sixx published his second book based on his own experiences. The book was named ‘Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star,’ in which he wrote about the time when he almost died due to his severe heroin consumption as well as his recovery from addiction. Nikki’s third book, ‘This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography and Life Through the Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx,’ was also published back in 2011.

The legendary bassist has three published books and it has been known that he was working on a new book. Nikki had previously announced his upcoming book saying that it is nothing like he has ever written before. Recently, Sixx shared a new tweet revealing that his new book is nearly done and added that the next step will be the editing and the development process. He also mentioned that he wasn’t able to give everything away at the moment, yet he wanted to update the fans along the way.
