Nikki Sixx Says A Lot Of Bands Started To Look The Same Unlike Led Zeppelin And Queen In The 70’s

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing an opinion of his about the current bands started looking the same while stating that this would never happen with the 1970s bands such as Queen, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Aerosmith.

As many of you know, the ’70s were filled with countless iconic rock stars with an equally iconic sense of fashion which represented incredibly unique tastes and variety such as Queen members’ bold style choices in addition to being one of the most successful bands in the world. Their fashion was always evolving while representing edgy time to time and bending gender norms the other day.

Just like Queen, Led Zeppelin members’ style also represented another aspect of the ’70s rock icon fashion with their bohemian chic outfits on stage completed with a topless look. Nevertheless, there are countless legendary bands with signature looks that contributed to the diversity of fashion which is a missing concept these days.

Recently, Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Twitter page stressing this matter by revealing his opinion about the current bands looking almost the same with their style. In order to prove his point, Mötley Crüe’s bassist stated that the current bands cannot be compared to the 1970s bands such as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, and many more all of which had a different taste.

Here is what Sixx said:

“Is it just me or are a lot of bands all starting to look the same? Never would’ve said that when I was coming up in the ’70s with Zep, Queen, Aero, Sabbath, Alice, etc. Thoughts?”
