Nikki Sixx Names His All Time Favorite Bands Outside Of Mötley Crüe


Mötley Crüe’s bassist Nikki Sixx has revealed his favorite bands in a recent tweet while answering his followers’ questions.

The primary songwriter of Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx, is among the co-founders of the band. Apart from playing the bass for Mötley Crüe, Sixx has also worked with several artists and bands, such as Alice Cooper, Lita Ford, and others. Furthermore, the successful bassist hosts the radio programs ‘Sixx Sense’ and ‘The Side Show Countdown.’

Alongside his musical career, Nikki Sixx is also a writer. In 2007, he published his book ‘The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star,’ which was a collection of his memories from the time he was a heroin addict. In addition to that, Sixx is also publishing a new memoir titled ‘The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx’ on October 5.

In his previous Q&A session, which he has named ‘Ask Sixx,’ he had revealed when Mötley Crüe will start rehearsing. Nikki Sixx recently conducted another one while he was flying on a plane.

Nikki Sixx tweeted:

“40 Thousand feet mid-flight, AskSixx?”

Upon seeing the tweet, fans bombarded Nikki Sixx with their questions. One of them asked the musician his favorite band and song outside Mötley Crüe. Sixx responded that his answer has always been the same; Aerosmith and Cheap Trick.

The fan asked Nikki Sixx that:

“Favorite band and song outside of Crüe?”

Nikki Sixx replied:

“It’s always the same. Aerosmith and Cheap Trick.”
