Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Twitter page after starting out a Q&A session with his fans and revealed that his brand new book may come out this year in addition to having an accompanying book tour if the coronavirus pandemic allows him.

Nikki Sixx previously released his first book ‘The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band‘ back on May 22, 2001, along with his band members, drummer Tommy Lee, and lead vocalist Vince Neil, followed by his second book on September 18, 2007, named ‘The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star,’ and his most recent book, ‘This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography, and Life Through the Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx‘ which was released on April 4, 2011.

As many of you know, Mötley Crüe bassist has been working on another book as he revealed back in 2020 and the upcoming book is going to be quite different than previous books of Nikki Sixx since it’s going to be unrelated to his career with the band according to Nikki Sixx.

During a recent Q&A session with his fans, Nikki Sixx was asked about his book by a fan who would like to know if the new book is ready to be released and the legendary bassist revealed that his upcoming book is most likely going to be released this year in addition to stating that if the precautions for the coronavirus pandemic allow him, Sixx may have a book tour.

Here is what the fan asked:

How’s the new book coming along? Has being back in CA been an inspiration? Happy Easter to you & your family from ours here in NC.”

Here is what Sixx said:

“I got a few different things I am working on right now. The new book might come out this year (with a book tour) but that depends on Covid safety measures. I get more creativity from wide-open spaces but LA has been good to get those new seeds planted…”
