Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has addressed the band’s plans following the conclusion of their current tour.
Sixx first reflected on the tour nearing its end, noting how many shows remain and expressing enthusiasm for the final stretch.
“Only 11 more shows left for this tour,” Sixx said. “Looking forward to seeing everybody out there. Let’s go out in a high.”
A fan later asked Sixx directly about what comes next for the band, asking: “What’s next after this? Any plans for next year or is it a hiatus for the Crue?”
“Finishing up the 3rd leg of this tour,” Sixx responded. “We haven’t made plans for next year yet.”
He went on to share how he intends to spend his time once the tour wraps up.
“This has been a great tour and I am also looking forward to the rest of this year off with family,” Sixx continued, “and wrapping up a few other projects that are close to finding homes.”
No concrete plans have been announced for 2027. Fans will have to wait for further updates on Mötley Crüe’s next steps once the current tour concludes.
The Return of the Carnival of Sins tour is a 33-date North American run that kicked off on July 17, 2026, at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. The run is set to wrap up on September 26, 2026, at Cascades Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Washington.
The band’s remaining schedule includes stops in Kansas City, Missouri on September 8, followed by Dallas on September 10, Houston on September 11, and Albuquerque on September 13. These dates fall within the “11 more shows” window Sixx referenced.
Throughout August, Mötley Crüe made stops including Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio at Blossom Music Center on August 24, and Noblesville, Indiana at Ruoff Music Center on August 28.
Extreme and Tesla have joined as support acts throughout the run. Sixx’s comments suggest the group is treating this leg less as an ending and more as a well-earned victory lap before turning attention to other pursuits.
