Nikki Sixx Applauds Selena Gomez For ‘Her Courage’

Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx has recently commented on Selena Gomez‘s documentary, released a few months ago, with a Twitter post. The bassist expressed his appreciation for the content of Gomez’s latest project.

Gomez’s documentary, ‘Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me,’ focuses on the singer’s physical and mental health issues and career. She has been known to struggle with Lupus and bipolar disorder for a while. In this documentary, Gomez gives more details on her struggles with her mental health and shows the efforts she puts into overcoming them, which Sixx finds impressive.

Mötley Crüe’s co-founder has been struggling with mental health problems arising from traumatic experiences of his childhood. He previously expressed that he had spent a lot of money to heal from his mental struggles to become a better father. So, it is understandable that Gomez’s documentary touched him.

Sixx revealed his opinion on the documentary with a tweet and explained its content by stating its relevance to mental health struggles. The bassist indicated that they all dealt with mental problems and congratulated Selena Gomez on her courage to put effort into healing and expressing her situation through her work.

His appreciation tweet read:
