Nikki Sixx Announces The Auction Of His Fully Signed Bass Guitar To Help The Music Industry Workers

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Instagram page announcing that his signed Schecter bass guitar is up for an auction in order to benefit this year’s MusiCares’ Charity Relief Auction which helps all of the music people who were harmed during the coronavirus pandemic.

As many of you know, the music industry has been heavily injured due to the coronavirus pandemic since the precautions and restrictions have affected the music people more than any other. While major bands and musicians managed to survive with the minimum damage thanks to live streaming events, less famous musicians and their stuff struggle to manage their lives.

Because of this, many foundations related to music try to support and help the people of the music industry by fundraising through live streaming shows and actions. This year, MusiCares organizing a Charity Relief Auction to provide aid to music people crushed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recently, Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Instagram page announcing that he is going to donate a fully signed Schecter bass guitar for the Charity Relief Auction in order to show his support for the music community.

In addition to Sixx’s signature, the back of the guitar ‘Sixx’ is written in silver accompanied by a handwritten note that says ‘Always Kick Ass & Do our Best Nikki Sixx Motley Crue 2020’ with a caricature portrait of Nikki Sixx.

Here is what Sixx said:

“I’m honored to be taking part in this years MusiCares Charity Relief Auction
Proceeds from the auction benefit MusiCares to provide aid to music people devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

MusiCares provides the music community a support system of health and human services across a spectrum of needs, including physical and mental health, addiction recovery, unforeseen personal emergencies, and disaster relief.

Up for auction is a fully signed Schecter bass guitar

The back of the headstock has ‘Sixx’ in silver. Accompanied by a handwritten note that reads ‘Always Kick Ass & Do our Best Nikki Sixx Motley Crue 2020’ with a caricature self-portrait.”
