Nickelback guitarist Ryan Peake recently spoke to WDHA’s Reconnect With Rockers for an interview and argued that they don’t have the energy Bruce Springsteen has every night.

Bruce Springsteen has a prolific career as a solo musician and a member of the E Street Band. Throughout his music career, The Boss has released 20 studio albums and given a tremendous number of live performances. Springsteen is still active in the music scene with a career spanning over five decades, despite being 72 years old.

The rocker rose to prominence not only for his musical talents but also for his showmanship. During his live shows, the musician thrills the audience with his energetic stage performances and social messages, which he supports with his lyrics. On March 9, 2012, Springsteen even climbed onto the Apollo Theater balcony while performing.

Since the Boss has a vast music catalog that features numerous hits and enjoys stage shows, his performances go on for hours. Sometimes his shows last up to four hours in length. Although this might be challenging for people his age, it doesn’t bother Springsteen at all.

In a recent interview with WDHA’s Reconnect With Rockers, Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake talked about the challenges of having an enduring music career and performing a significant number of songs during a show. Peake stated that he lacked the stamina of Springsteen, while Kroeger agreed with him and said he couldn’t perform all of their singles every night.

During the conversation, Ryan Peake said the following:

“I don’t think I’ve got the stamina of Bruce Springsteen.”

Chad Kroeger then continued:

“No, we don’t have. I could not stand on stage and sing all our singles every night.”
