Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons’ sons, Evan and Nick, teased upcoming album plans on Instagram.
“One song turned into 10 real quick,” Evan Stanley said in his post, along with a photo with Nick Simmons and the computer they recorded their songs.
Fans seemed eager to see their collaboration. A fan wrote in the comments, “Aaaaaaw I love seeing a Stanley and a Simmons together, because always you do incredible art creations. You both inherited your parents’ talent and we are very, very proud and happy to see you two working together. We love you both so much .”
Another one was also supportive as they said, “Not sure you guys can fight fate and destiny. You should do something together, I can seem just from this photo, you can’t deny the magic and chemistry.” One other fan shared, “Can’t wait to hear them!!!!”
Evan and Nick also teamed up in December to cover Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound of Silence.’ Simmons shared a video of him and Stanley performing the song and wrote, “He garfunkeled my simon till my hall got oates.”
Gene Simmons also posted their video on X, with the caption, “Nick Simmons and Evan Stanley. Check this out. Amazing.”
In the comments, fans seemed to enjoy the duo’s cover of the track. A person said, “The next lineup of Kiss?” Another one noted, “The next generation of Kiss.” One other fan stated, “Killer stuff!! New band a coming!”
Stanley leads Amber Wild, which opened for KISS at some of their last shows. Nick has recorded with Bruce Kulick, performed with Wolfmother, and is part of the electronic duo Sym Fera.
Evan previously denied rumors about him taking over KISS, saying it’s his dad’s thing and not something he wants to do. He appreciates KISS but is more interested in his own work and doesn’t want to wear the makeup or take on that role.
