Neil Young Targets The Culprit Of The Current Economic Crisis In The USA

Neil Young recently appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel of Apple Music and reflected on his new album. He also shared his opinions on the ongoing economic crisis in the United States.
Neil Young stands out as one of the greatest rock musicians with his distinctive guitar sounds and touching lyrics. In his long-lasting career of over 50 years, Young has been very productive and released numerous studio albums. On December 10, 2021, he released his 41st studio album, ‘Barn,’ with Crazy Horse.
Besides his successful music career, Neil Young has always shown his interest in political issues with his various public statements. It is known that he was very critical of former U.S. President Donald Trump. In fact, Trump once had used his song, ‘Rockin’ in the Free World’ for his campaign without permission. And then, Young had sued him and had even released an open letter to Trump to express his frustration.
Neil Young has always shown his support for the Democrats as revealed by his previous statements. During a recent interview, he, again, didn’t hesitate to declare his side. He was asked about his opinions on the government and leadership. Young then replied by saying that the current economic crisis has nothing to do with the Joe Biden government.
He defended that pandemic is to be blamed for the rising inflation. Neil Young gave his full support to Biden and said that the entire world was affected by the pandemic, and people are doing the wrong thing by blaming the Biden government for everything. Rather than that, they should be more focused on creating solutions.
Here are Neil Young’s words on the current economic crisis:
“I think that rising inflation comes along, which is you know just something to talk about. Yeah, things are getting more expensive but they’d have got more expensive anyway. We just had a pandemic. We just had all this stuff, the shipping has stopped and that is nothing to do with Joe Biden. It is not his fault that there was a pandemic and everything has come to a grinding hold around the planet.
His thing is you know, a little more focused which is what is causing the problem that is a threat to us. And he is taking that on and he is not bothered with the other stuff. I think he is doing a great job. I support him a hundred percent. I like what he is doing. I feel good about that. Once you gotta get behind something, people are dwelling on what is wrong but they should dwell on what we need to do, not whose fault it is.”
