The guitarist was discussing who was to appear on his record, ‘The Other Side of Mars,’ when the topic came to how Korn drummer Ray Luzier had ‘insisted’ on appearing on it, even while having his hands full with his own band. Mars said the following about Luzier’s feature:

He actually insisted on playing on this album. I’m now working on new stuff, not to get ahead of what we’re talking about, and he’s in Bakersfield right now with Korn, but he’s coming over tonight, and tomorrow he’ll be playing drums on this new song I’ve written.”

And Who Else Is Appearing?

Mars’ statements pointed out that names such as Paul Taylor [who worked with Alice Cooper], Jacob Bunton [who worked with Steve Adler], Brion Gamboa [Third Midst], Michael Wagener, a German producer who’d worked with Mötley Crüe on their debut, are also collaborating with him on his first-ever solo album.

‘The Other Side of Mars’ is scheduled for release on February 23, 2024. You can pre-order the record here if you wish.
