Mick Mars’ daughter has provided a new update on her father’s condition following his legal battle against former Mötley Crüe bandmates. She shared her thoughts in a post on Instagram.

Stormy Deal posted a photo of her father and expressed her support. She wrote about his lasting impact on fans.

“Your legacy will go on for many more generations,” Stormy Deal wrote in the caption. “You have got thee best fans in thee entire world.”

When a Mick Mars fan asked in the comments about how he’s doing these days, his daughter provided a brief but reassuring response.

“He’s good,” Mick Mars’ daughter Stormy Deal responded.

This update comes after Mars lost his legal battle against his former Mötley Crüe bandmates. His daughter showed public support during this period.

The legal dispute that prompted this family support reached its conclusion in January 2026. This marked the end of a bitter conflict that began when Mars retired from touring in 2022.

Guitar World reported that the arbitrator ruled decisively in favor of Mötley Crüe, dismissing Mars’ claims against his former bandmates. The 74-year-old guitarist had sued the band after retiring from touring due to his ongoing battle with ankylosing spondylitis. This is a degenerative bone disease that has significantly impacted his health in recent years.

The financial implications of the ruling were substantial for Mars. MetalSucks noted that Mars was ordered to repay approximately $244,000 in advance money for the 2022 tour dates he did not perform after his retirement announcement.

The arbitration also addressed Mars’ controversial allegations about the band’s live performances. MusicRadar revealed that the ruling determined Mars’ claims about band members miming during live performances were false. He was forced to admit this under oath.

Despite the legal setback, Mars has continued his musical journey as a solo artist. MusicRadar confirmed that he released a solo album titled “The Other Side Of Mars” in 2024. This demonstrates that while he may have stepped away from touring, he hasn’t fully retired from music.
