Hollywood actress Jane Fonda recently made a surprising revelation about Michael Jackson during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Fonda stated that Jackson had once expressed his expectation of a premature demise.
Fonda was recalling an incident that took place while she was filming the classic movie ‘On Golden Pond.’ The anecdote involved a rather unexpected visit from Jackson to her lakeside cottage on set, with Jackson opting to skinny-dip in the lake.
Despite the initial shock and amusement from the show’s host and audience, Fonda elaborated that Jackson’s decision to go skinny-dipping wasn’t simply a playful act. Instead, she suggested that he was acutely aware of his impending early death and seemed to want to leave a lasting impression.
The actress said the following about his memory of the late King of Pop:
“I saw Michael Jackson naked.”
She continued:
“Well, he came and visited me when we were shooting ‘On Golden Pond,’ and I had a little cottage right on the lake, and it was a beautiful moonlit night.”
Cohen stepped in and said:
“And you said let’s skinny dip.”
Fonda replied:
“No, he did! I think because he knew he was going to die young, and I would talk about him, being naked. He was skinny!”
So, according to Jane Fonda, Michael Jackson suggested going skinny dipping because he knew he was going to die young. So, he did something like that since he assumed Fonda would tell the story of seeing him naked.
