Is Matt Working For Muse Or A Solo Project?

It’s not certain whether Matt is working with the orchestra for his solo project or for Muse. But it’s highly possible that it is a solo project since Muse’s last album was released in 2022, and they recently released a 20th-anniversary reissue of ‘Absolution.’

Another hint that suggests the upcoming project is a solo venture is Matt’s previous statements. During the lockdown in 2020, when Matt first started working on his solo album, he spoke to SkyNews about his future projects. Explaining how he would approach a solo venture, Matt said:

“For me, I just started playing the piano and doing music at home. And I guess I just started thinking, what kind of music would I do if it wasn’t for Muse? The answer is probably quite ethereal or a bit more kind of soundtracky sounding…”

In the Instagram post, Matt gave fans a snippet of the track he worked on with the orchestra, and it’s safe to say that it sounds like a movie soundtrack. You can listen to the track below.
