Mark Hoppus Announces His Final Surgery For Cancer Treatment
Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus shared a new post on his official Twitter account to inform his fans about the current status of his cancer treatment which came to an end as Hoppus previously announced.
Mark Hoppus saddened his fans and bandmates when he announced that he was diagnosed with cancer, which is a stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Since then, he has been getting chemotherapy treatment and sharing the details of his recovery process with his fans via his social media accounts.
Fortunately, the bass guitarist revealed last month that he finished all the treatment, and he is cancer-free now. Two weeks after this announcement, Mark shared a picture of himself in the waiting room before entering his final surgery, which is an operation to remove his chemotherapy port.
In the recent picture he posted, Mark seemed more energetic and vigorous compared to his appearance for the last few months. It can also be seen that his hair started to grow back as the chemotherapy ends.
Mark Hoppus captioned:
“In the waiting room for the surgery to remove my chemo port!”
