Marilyn Manson has announced the release of the music video for “Unalive,” directed by Anthony Silva. The song comes from his latest album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2. He shared the news on Instagram.
The announcement included a statement from Manson reflecting on resilience and defiance in the face of criticism.

The release marks a significant moment in Manson’s ongoing musical output. It arrives alongside the full album that “Unalive” opens.
One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 dropped on August 14, 2026, through Nuclear Blast Records. It serves as the second and final chapter following 2024’s One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1. The nine-track record runs just under 43 minutes and marks Manson’s 13th studio album overall.
“Unalive” leads the tracklist, followed by songs including “Don’t Answer the Door,” “Front Toward Enemy,” “All the Vilest Things,” and closing track “Enantiomorph.” The album was co-produced and co-written with longtime collaborator Tyler Bates.
Anthony Silva served as director and editor for the “Unalive” video. Alan Lasky handled cinematography alongside Silva, who also took on a second DP role. The visual accompanies the album’s release, giving fans a first look at the project’s tone right out of the gate.
Manson has described the record as an album shaped by vengeance, positioning it as the closing statement in the two-part One Assassination Under God saga. Chapter 2 is now complete, and the project stands as a deliberate bookend to the narrative he began building two years earlier.
