Machine Gun Kelly shared his reaction to Bob Dylan liking his music in an Instagram story.

“Okay, really quick. Cool moment that just happened,” the rocker started his words in the video. “I’m in my conversation pit in my house, having a whole discussion about ‘Am I doing the right thing?’ ‘Is this the right direction for this album?'”

He added, “I’m questioning it and I’m questioning it in the same breath as someone goes, ‘Bob Dylan just posted a video of you.’ I’m like, ‘This must be another Bob Dylan or whatever.’ We go on his Instagram and he actually posted that video.”

“The originator of doing everything opposite of what people wanted him to do. Randomly posting a video of me back in the day, rapping in a vinyl shop. I was like, ‘What the f*ck.’ Trust the signals that come in. It was so cool. I’m grateful. It’s so random,” MGK revealed.

Dylan’s Instagram posted a 2016 video of Kelly performing in Orlando, Florida, at Park Ave CDs. There was no caption in the post.

It isn’t known whether there’s a connection between Bob Dylan and MGK and why the singer shared Kelly’s video.

The biographical film ‘A Complete Unknown’ which focuses on Dylan’s career has been successful. A new auction lets fans own a piece of his history, says 1340 KGFW.

RR Auction recently launched a Dylan-themed auction with over 70 items, including one of his earliest demos from 1961. The demo, recorded live at New York’s Gaslight Café, was produced by Dylan’s first manager, Terri Thal. It is expected to sell for $20,000.

Executive vice president at RR Auction, Bobby Livingston, said, “This tape is a revelation—a rare look into Bob Dylan before he was a household name.”

The auction also includes items related to Dylan and Bob Neuwirth, such as a 1975 Martin D-41 guitar Neuwirth gave Dylan, a ‘Nudie’ suit Dylan bought for Neuwirth, and a Rolling Thunder Revue backstage pass. The money raised will help fund a documentary about Neuwirth.
