He addressed critics who disapprove of the band’s departure from metal.

“The whole album’s fantastic. I don’t even care that people say like, ‘Oh it doesn’t sound like metal,'” he continued. “It’s like dude, it’s just the damn band. You made them metal. They were just a band and you decided that they were a metal band. Now you’re deciding there’s something else. Here we are. It’s fantastic.”

These comments arrive at a pivotal moment in Sleep Token’s career. The band continues to push musical boundaries and challenge genre expectations.

Blabbermouth revealed Sleep Token’s plans to release their new album “Even In Arcadia” on May 9 via RCA Records. “Caramel” serves as one of the album’s lead singles.

The band’s evolution has achieved remarkable success. Their previous single “Emergence” topped the Hot Hard Rock charts and became 2024’s biggest rock streaming debut.

Sleep Token’s musical journey reflects their distinctive compositional approach. They blend delicate melodies with heavy rhythms to create a sound that transcends traditional genre boundaries.

Their latest material showcases this innovative spirit. The band remains committed to exploring emotional depth and maintaining their enigmatic narrative while expanding their sonic horizons.
