Linkin Park Shares A Behind The Scenes Video With Chester Bennington To Celebrate 9th Birthday Of ’Living Things’

As stated in a recent tweet by Linkin Park, it is the ninth anniversary of their fifth studio album ‘Living Things,’ and to celebrate it, the band has shared a behind-the-scenes video in their LPTV, which shows the moment where the band tries to choose an album cover for the track along with the presence of Chester Bennington.

After the death of Chester Bennington, Linkin Park has remained on hiatus for a long time. However, on April 28, 2020, the band’s bassist Dave Farell announced that they are making new music. Then, the surviving members of the band released a track called ‘She Couldn’t,’ which was recorded back in 1999 and included on their ‘Hybrid Theory’ album’s 20th-anniversary edition. More recently, Linkin Park released a remix of ‘One Step Closer‘ made by 100 gecs.

According to Linkin Park’s tweet, yesterday marked the 9th anniversary of their fifth studio effort ‘Living Things,’ which was released on June 26, 2012. Certified Platinum from RIAA in August 2017, the album is known to be acclaimed widely. In the tweet, the band celebrated the album’s 9th birthday and shared footage of their discussion on the album’s cover from the 70th episode of their LPTV. In the video, Mike Shinoda shows the possible album cover for the ‘Living Things’ album and all band members including Chester Bennington share their ideas that created the final version of the artwork.

Linkin Park’s tweet read:

“Happy 9th birthday to Living Things. To celebrate, watch behind the scenes footage from the album cover creation in LPTV episode 70.”
