Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch and estranged bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu were spotted together at a recent Whosoevers event. Sevendust’s Clint Lowery shared a photo of the reunion on social media. Fieldy left Korn and has described his departure as “retirement.” He reconnected with Welch at the Christian outreach event, fueling speculation among fans about a possible Christian rock supergroup.
Lowery’s post reflected on the gathering, describing the reunion of familiar faces and the spiritual atmosphere of the evening.
“What a night,” Lowery said. “Got to connect with Brian Welch, The Whosoevers Movement, Ryan Ries and reconnect with Fieldy, who I haven’t seen in a while.”
Lowery went on to describe the mood among the group and thanked those who organized and attended the event.
“We laughed, we prayed and I felt peace among them sharing our stories,” Lowery continued. “Praying for their event tonight. Thanks so much for making the time to come to the show and Brian for organizing his group!!! God is good.”

The setting behind this reunion carries its own history within the Christian music scene. The Whosoevers is a Christian nonprofit collective founded in 2009 by P.O.D. singer Sonny Sandoval and Ryan Ries. The organization focuses on outreach to young people through school tours, live music, and action sports events.
This particular gathering marked more than a casual meetup. The evening served as the official opening of The Whosoevers’ new global outreach center, a facility designed to function as far more than an administrative office. The space is set up to host intimate concerts, guest speakers, and community events. An on-site skateboarding mini ramp reflects the organization’s action-sports roots.
The lineup that night extended well beyond Welch, Fieldy, and Lowery. Other prominent names from the Christian rock and metal scene joined the celebration, including P.O.D. and former Flyleaf singer Lacey Sturm. Their presence turned the outreach center’s debut into a broader showcase of faith-driven musicians.
The night culminated in an unplanned onstage moment. Fieldy and Welch joined P.O.D. for a performance of “Boom,” followed by a cover of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage.” The impromptu performance gave fans an unexpected preview of what a reunion between the two Korn members might sound like in a live setting.
