Kip Winger discussed Winger’s future in a recent interview with WhiteLineFeverTV.

“Listen, I’ve been well-known my whole life. But I was never, like, ‘Hey, I’m a rock star’ or anything like that. It’s very matter of fact to just talk to people,” Winger said.

“What I’ll miss is playing with these guys that I really love so much, but I’m very excited to move on to this other world that I’m really inspired because I’m hearing so much of the music,” he continued.

“At some point I’m gonna play a final show with the band. I don’t know when it is. But that’s not to say I might not do a cruise or something. I don’t really know. I’m not going, ‘Hey, this is the last show we’re ever gonna do’ because… Well, hey, KISS did it for 10 years,” he added with a laugh.

His approach stands in clear contrast to KISS’s extended farewell tours. Winger’s career continues to evolve beyond his rock music roots.

A report from GoSeeTalk revealed his deep involvement in classical music composition. His violin concerto will premiere with the Nashville Symphony in May 2025.

Blabbermouth noted that the band’s 2023 album ‘Seven’ might represent one of Kip’s final major rock projects. This release marks a natural transition point in his musical evolution.

His move toward classical composition reflects years of careful preparation. Recent interviews highlighted how Winger laid the groundwork for this transition since his early career days.

His straightforward approach to ending the band’s run reflects his authentic attitude toward career transitions. This stands in stark contrast to KISS’s decade-long farewell tour.
