King Diamond has canceled his November 22 show in Calgary, Alberta; November 24 show in Portland, Oregon; and November 25 show in Seattle, Washington

The rocker did not provide more details about the cancellations but only mentioned that the tour will resume on November 27 at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California.

“Hello everyone, King Diamond here. It is with a heavy heart to inform you that tonight’s show in Calgary is cancelled along with Portland and Seattle,” he stated on Instagram. “This is something that we do not take lightly and will make this up to you in the future. The St Lucifer’s Hospital Tour will pick back in Oakland, CA on Nov. 27th through Dec. 10th in Mexico City. For those affected by the cancelled shows, tickets will be refunded by point of purchase. (Not by 3rd party seller).”

This is the second time this week that King Diamond has had to cancel shows, with Wednesday’s show in Edmonton and a more recent show in Saskatchewan also being canceled due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’

The announcement came a few days in advance, so fans were given some time to adjust. There are still a few dates left before the tour ends.

King Diamond is joined by black metal artist Myrkur for backing vocals and organ on the tour. Overkill and Night Demon are also opening every show. The tour is set to end on December 6 at The Factory In Deep Ellum Dallas, Texas.
