REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin recently responded to a fan’s comment about ticket availability for his upcoming show with Styx and Don Felder. The exchange took place on Facebook.

The interaction began when a fan commented on Cronin’s Facebook post. The fan pointed out the availability of tickets for the Houston show.

“Plenty of tickets available for the Houston show!” the fan wrote in response to Cronin’s post.

Cronin quickly responded to the comment with an invitation for the fan to attend the performance.

“Then you can come to the show at Cynthia Woods Pavillion on Friday! See you there, Scott,” Cronin replied.

This social media exchange comes as part of Cronin’s promotional efforts for what has become a significant touring venture in the classic rock scene.

The Houston show is part of “The Brotherhood of Rock” tour. Consequence reported that the tour kicked off on May 28 in Greenville, South Carolina. The tour features a unique collaboration between Styx, Kevin Cronin, and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder. It brings together multiple generations of rock legends.

Riverbend Music Center noted that Kevin Cronin is performing a full set of REO Speedwagon’s iconic album “Hi Infidelity” during the tour. Styx will perform their classic album “The Grand Illusion” in its entirety. This format allows fans to experience complete album performances from both acts. It creates a nostalgic concert experience.

The tour holds particular significance as it marks one of Cronin’s first major outings following recent developments within REO Speedwagon. Blabbermouth revealed that this touring arrangement comes after REO Speedwagon announced they would cease touring due to “irreconcilable differences” between Cronin and bassist Bruce Hall.

The collaboration with Styx and Don Felder provides Cronin with an opportunity to continue performing REO Speedwagon’s catalog. He works alongside other established rock acts. The tour represents a new chapter for the veteran musician as he navigates this transition period in his career.
