Journey’s Neal Schon Stands By Elton John On His Recent Legal Feud

Neal Schon recently vocalized his support for Elton John, who got involved in a legal feud against Daily Mail publisher, Associated Press, while also recalling his own lawsuit against the news outlet on Twitter.

John isn’t the only A-Class celebrity fighting against Daily Mail on the case, as numerous others, including Prince Harry, are taking a legal stance against the news outlet. The pre-trial hearings began on Monday, and both Elton and the Duke of Sussex made an appearance on the court to bring public attention to the case.

The accusations against Associated Press vary from news-related defamations to ‘gross breaches of privacy,’ and it’s currently unclear whether the court will take the case in action or dismiss it, as Daily Mail motioned. However, in the meanwhile, Neal decided it would be the right time to support John, tweeting how he had also previously filed against the news outlet and won.

Schon’s words in support of Elton and recalling his legal feud with the British newspaper:

“Good luck to Elton John in your lawsuit with the Daily Mail. I won years back when they put out a story about me. Not many win, but I did and didn’t let up. They payed dollars and [issued a] full public apology on their front page for 3 months.”

It was apparent that the guitarist had learned from his legal battle against the news outlet that it could be challenging to win against Daily Mail, but it wasn’t impossible. So, perhaps, John and Prince Harry’s legal teams should get in contact with Schon’s to get a few helpful cues from their book.
