Iced Earth guitarist Jon Schaffer has released a new music video for “Full Spectrum Dominance,” a track from his Sons Of Liberty project. The video is now available to stream on Jon Schaffer’s Sons of Liberty YouTube channel.
The announcement was made directly by Schaffer, urging fans to check out the newly released visual.
“‘Full Spectrum Dominance’ official music video just dropped!” he said. “Turn it up loud and watch it now!”
The new music video appears to be part of a broader promotional push for Schaffer’s Sons Of Liberty catalog. Physical editions and collector’s items are already in the pipeline for later this year.
The official YouTube upload notes that “Full Spectrum Dominance” is originally from the 2011 Spirit of the Times EP, making the new video a fresh visual treatment for a track that is now over a decade old. The release is being handled under Platinum Dragon Intl / Ravencraft Productions / The Circle Music, with the video filmed and edited by DazVideos. Credits list Schaffer on lead vocals, guitars, and bass, alongside Jim Morris on guitar solo and Mark Prator on drums.
Blabbermouth reported that the current activity around the Sons Of Liberty catalog appears to be tied to the broader release campaign for Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2), which is already out on all streaming platforms. This suggests Schaffer is actively repackaging and re-presenting his Sons Of Liberty material to a new audience rather than simply revisiting old releases.
Metal Addicts noted that physical copies of the release are also being promoted alongside the video drop. Vinyl, CD, and collector’s editions carry a July 4, 2026 street date and are available through merch links for both North America and Europe.
Metal Anarchy described Sons Of Liberty as Schaffer’s solo protest-metal project, long associated with politically charged material. The renewed activity around the project signals that Schaffer remains committed to keeping this side of his musical output in the spotlight alongside his ongoing work with Iced Earth.
