John Corabi recently appeared on the ‘Road to Rock’ podcast and discussed the 30th anniversary of the 1994 ‘Mötley Crüe’ album next year. When asked whether there will be a box set or something to celebrate the album, Corabi revealed:

“It’ll never happen. No, it’ll never happen. Look at the end of the day Mötley Crüe is Vince [Neil], Nikki [Sixx], Mick [Mars], and Tommy [Lee] we know this. But Mötley, whoever, I don’t know if it’s the manager, if it’s Nikki, I don’t know whatever, but this isn’t anything news breaking.”

John expressed that in his eyes his former band has disregarded the 1994 album entirely by explaining:

“They’ve gone out of their way to kind of sweep that era under a rug. So they’re not going to celebrate it. It’s not going to happen. If you have a copy just embrace it, enjoy it, but nothing is coming out after that in regards to that record. I highly doubt it.”

Corabi has mentioned in a previous interview that he is grateful for his time with the band and the opportunity the guys gave him. However, John revealed that he isn’t holding his breath for a celebration on the only Mötley Crüe album he gave his vocals to. He said:

“I highly doubt that you know it’s ever going to happen. Because it’s like it is what it is. Mötley Crüe is Mötley Crüe. John Corabi is John Corabi. I try not to get involved in the anything Mötley. I get asked questions, I answer them and move on. But I don’t think honestly from where I’m standing, Mötley’s gone out of their way to remove that part of their history from their history, so it is what it is.”
