Guitarist John 5 recently opened up about his belief that he is surrounded by ghosts. He shared his personal experiences and theories about supernatural encounters in an interview with New Noise Magazine.

John 5 was asked about naming his album “Ghost” and how spirits haunt him. He provided detailed insights into his experiences with loss and supernatural presence.

“Yeah, I have lost so many family members. Just everybody. I just have my sister with me, but everybody around me, best friends, like tons of friends, tons of like relatives, and you know, I’m young. It’s not like I’m, you know, 70 or something,” John 5 said. “And it’s very strange, but I feel like this sense that I have ghosts around me and I love it and I welcome it and I’m happy about it.”

The guitarist then shared what he considers evidence of ghostly visitations through dreams.

“Now I’m going to get really weird. If you’ve ever had someone who has passed and I’ve read about this, and I’ve seen a lot of I’ve studied about this. If you’ve ever had someone who has passed and you’ve dreamt about it. And that person, let’s say it’s one of your parents, they don’t talk,” he continued. “So, if you are talking to them, but they don’t answer, that means that person has come to visit you. But if you’re dreaming and you’re talking to the person and they’re talking back to you, that means you’re just dreaming.”

These supernatural beliefs come from an artist who has built an impressive career spanning multiple decades and genres. John 5’s personal experiences with loss have clearly influenced both his music and his worldview.
