However, he also addressed the uncertainty surrounding the album’s release date.

“And as far as I know right now, we’re still finishing up a few things,” he continued. “We’re not even mixing yet, so at this point I’d be just speculating [about a possible release date]. Obviously, things are going in the right form and the timing is right. So, all good. I’m happy. You’re gonna love it.”

This upcoming release represents a significant milestone for the thrash metal veterans. They continue to maintain their position as one of the genre’s most enduring acts.

XS Rock reported that the album is rumored to arrive in fall 2025. The band has yet to finalize mixing and production. The record will mark Anthrax’s 12th studio release, adding to a catalog that spans over four decades of heavy metal history.

Chaoszine revealed that the band has returned to the studio multiple times for this project. This indicates their commitment to perfecting the material. This meticulous approach reflects the band’s dedication to delivering quality music to their fanbase.

Recent live performances have also showcased the band’s continued energy and connection with audiences. Blabbermouth noted that Anthrax performed at the “Back To The Beginning” charity event in Birmingham, UK. Belladonna described the atmosphere as “magic,” comparing the gathering to Live Aid for the metal community.

The update provides fans with both encouraging news about the album’s progress and a realistic timeline for its completion. This maintains the transparency that has characterized the band’s communication with their audience throughout their career.
