Joe Elliott recently spoke on the seventh episode of their ‘Behind The Studio Tour’ YouTube series and claimed Def Leppard didn’t hold any bad performances until now.

On December 4, 2019, Def Leppard announced they would embark on a Stadium Tour with Poison, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Mötley Crüe in the summer of 2020. However, things didn’t go according to their plans, and they had to reschedule it for 2021 and 2022 due to the global pandemic.

Although fans were worried whether the tour would take place in 2022 as many variants emerged, Def Leppard’s Rick Allen relieved them by saying there were no reasons to prevent them from hitting the road. They then embarked on the tour on June 16, 2022.

Def Leppard visited Cleveland, Ohio, on July 14, 2022, giving a remarkable performance to hundreds of fans. The band has been sharing their thoughts about the Stadium Tour shows on their YouTube channel, and they recently touched upon the show in Cleveland, Ohio.

In this seventh video series episode, Joe Elliott stated that the show was insane, thanks to the audience. Elliott then argued that Def Leppard hadn’t had any bad gigs yet. Moreover, the musician continued to express his excitement about the concert and thanked fans in Cleveland, Ohio.

Here is what Joe Elliott said about Def Leppard’s shows:

“What a gig! With the greatest respect to all audiences that we’ve played in front of, this lot tonight was insane. I know this sounds like ‘I’m doing this every night.’ Did we ever have a bad gig? Yeah, probably. Not yet, though, not yet!

This was brilliant; the crowd was fantastic. Man, we were on fire tonight, backing vocals were incredible, and the acoustic section probably went down the best the entire tour. I really, really enjoyed that tonight. So, thank you, Cleveland, Ohio. Off we go to Cincinnati, see what they can do.”
