Jimmy Page Reflects On Various Projects He’s Working Towards

Led Zeppelin’s guitarist Jimmy Page recently joined an interview with Classic Rock and revealed that he has been working on several projects, but he doesn’t want to give details yet.

Ozzy Osbourne, who released his latest studio album, ‘Ordinary Man,’ in 2020, has just completed working on his follow-up album. The upcoming album will also feature several guest appearances like Chad Smith, Robert Trujillo, Duff McKagan, Josh Homme, and Zakk Wylde.

Chad Smith reflected on Osbourne’s new album in the recent episode of Talk Is Jericho last week and revealed that they also tried to include Jimmy Page in the album, but he didn’t accept the invitation. According to the drummer, Page doesn’t play much these days, so he rejected the offer.

It looks like Chad Smith’s assumption doesn’t reflect the truth, as Jimmy Page confirmed the opposite in his recent interview with Classic Rock. The guitarist didn’t accept Ozzy’s invitation because he had been working on his new projects. Page explained having numerous projects rather than one he has been working on, but he doesn’t want to give many details right now since he doesn’t want people to misinterpret his statements.

Page speaking on the various projects he’s been working on:

“There are various things I’m working towards. It’s not just one thing, it’s multiple things, and I don’t want to even give a hint because if you do, you give a one-sentence sound bite, and then if it doesn’t materialize, it’s like: ‘Why didn’t you do a solo album?’ So I don’t want to say what it is that I’ve got planned because I don’t want to give people the chance to misinterpret it.”

Jimmy Page said that he wanted to be on the stage playing guitar again following Led Zeppelin’s 2007 reunion show. However, he didn’t appear much except for a few guest appearances. Thus, the fans were excitedly waiting for the good news from him. He will finally return to the music scene with his new projects.
